From the moment you pull into our fully paved parking lot in Canal Fulton, Ohio (In Stark County, just minutes from Akron, or Canton, Ohio), you'll notice many amenities, all specifically assembled to ensure that your wedding day remains special! Our facility is completely carpeted, with the exception of the dance floor where your wedding party will enjoy dancing with all of those special wedding reception guests.

For the comfort of your wedding reception guests, our facility is non-smoking. However we do have a portico (a covered pull through area) on the front of the building where your guests could smoke. The building is comfortably air-conditioned, so your wedding reception guests will be comfortable year-round. The front portico also allows your guests to arrive and depart easily, even in inclement weather.

Upon entering the building, you'll notice that we've been able to accommodate up to 300 of your guests (Our minimum is 150). The room has been elegantly decorated in colors you've chosen to match your wedding party day. Since you have the room for the day, there is no extra charge to have the ceremony at Elm Ridge. In fact, we'd be proud that you've chosen to spend more of your special wedding day with us!

After you've had a chance to relax and greet your special wedding reception guests, you'll be invited to be first to sample our delicious food, prepared right here at Elm Ridge. Our food is never catered from off-site. See our Menu Choices page for the choices you can have with your buffet. Your guests may go through the buffet line as many times as they like. When your guests have had their fill, the food is then packaged for you to take home.

Should you choose to include spirits in your wedding reception, you'll be pleased to know that we have a liquor license, and that we are completely insured. Elm Ridge follows all liquor laws strictly, and will include a uniformed officer if you include spirits.

Invite your favorite group to play, or hire a DJ (we'd be happy to make suggestions if needed), because it's time to dance! Put on your best moves, cut a rug, or slow dance with that special person you'll be spending the rest of your life with! Our wooden dance floor is conveniently located right beside the stage. We'll even turn on the rotating mirror globe for that special starry effect!

Now that you've danced a bit, it's time to cut the wedding cake that your special baker has delivered to us (Elm Ridge doesn't provide cake services, but again, we'd be happy to make suggestions if needed). Share your cake with your new spouse and guests, and we'll clean up afterwards!

You may want to consider having a photographer handy for the wedding reception, walking around taking those great shots of Aunt Harriet and Uncle Murray dancing, or your little niece with that big pout on her face. If your normal wedding photographer doesn't do receptions, we'll be happy to suggest a reception photographer.

Then the best part...When you're all done, you get to leave and we'll clean up!! We want your special wedding day to be one you'll remember for all the great fun things that happen!
